I feel very privileged to be taking on the role of Headteacher of this fantastic school and to be building on the improvements made by Darren Aisthorpe.

BISAK has a reputation of being one of the leading schools in the Eastern Province. In the time that I have been here, what strikes me most about BISAK is that it is a very friendly and family-orientated school.

Children thrive when they are happy and in a nurturing environment. Our focus is that we do what is best for the children. Through our motto ‘Let there be peace on earth’ and instilling the BISAK values we also look to bring out the best in each of our pupils, not only academically but socially and emotionally as well, during their time with us.

The Prep School is divided into distinct age phases led by senior leaders who form part of the Preparatory Leadership Team.

Lower Pre-Prep – pupils aged 3-5 (Nursery to Reception)

Upper Pre-Prep – pupils aged 5-7 (Year 1 to Year 2)

Lower Prep – 7-9 years old (Year 3 to Year 4)

Upper Prep – 9 to 11 years old (Year 5 to Year 6)

Our dedicated staff provide high-quality teaching and learning through lessons based on the English National Curriculum. These lessons are also adapted to our international setting. Our children in Nursery and Reception follow the English Early Years Framework. Across the school, we adopt a cross-curricular approach with the focus on broad, balanced and inspiring themes.

Looking over the past couple of terms, it would have been hard to imagine quite how much amazing work the children would have produced. I am very proud of all the children. Thank you too for all your support these past few months. Your thoughtful and heartfelt messages have made such a difference to everyone and cannot be undervalued.

Do get to know more about us by viewing our website. When we are able to, we would be delighted to show you our school highlight all the great work that goes on here.

Welcome to our Preparatory School

Pre-Prep starts with our 3 - 4 year olds in Nursery and Reception. Children follow the English Early Years Foundation Stage Curriculum (EYFS). Our pupils then move in Year 1 and Year 2, ages, 5-7 and follow the Key Stage 1 English National Curriciulum.

Year 5 - Year 6

Year 3 - Year 4

Our 9-11 year olds in Year 5 and Year 6 follow the Key Stage 2 English National Curriculum. We prepare our pupils so that they are confident, secure and ready for their secondary education.

Nursery - Year 2

Our 7-9 year olds in Year 3 and Year 4 follow the Key Stage 2 English National Curriculum. In Key Stage 2, we build upon pupils’ knowledge, skills and understanding from Pre-Prep, enabling a continuation of providing an enriching, broad and balanced curriculum.
